Call for Papers


Please follow the guidelines on this page for the submission of your abstract. The GIF abstract deadline is 28 February 2018   31 March 2018.*

The abstract should be short (max 400 words) explaining the technical or scientific aspect of your presentation (The abstract filename should be referenced this way: yourname_GIF_AF_2018_Abstract.docx) and submitted along with the application form to the GIF Symposium team

Elevator Pitch Challenge (EPiC)

Students, PHDs or young professionals submitting an abstract, video or paper to the conference are highly encouraged to take part in the Elevator Pitch Challenge (EPiC)**. The EPiC contest will take place before the Technical Sessions. The participants will have 3 min to present their subject and convince the audience (this 3’ talk may be supported by a brief powerpoint presentation). The best EPiC presentation will be selected by the audience and the winner will have the opportunity to present their work to the GIF Policy Group Members in Paris on 18-19 October 2018.
